Those who complain the most ...

Confidence or Cockiness?

Since both the Taliban and al Qaeda are ideologically driven groups, how will you define just what losing the war really means?

The West and particularly the United States has the technological upper-hand, as well as battle-tested (and battle-weary) troops, but I never get the feeling that the psychological and political aspects of our incursions are ever thought through.

For the people of Afghanistan and Iraq, this is just colonialism or imperialism, with scant regard to the idea of self-determination.

Let's hear it for vengeance ... er, I mean, justice.

It's surreal that the argument for and against the death penalty is muddied by the argument for and against the humaneness of the method of how we basically kill these people.

Good Question; Interesting Answer

From GigaOm: "If Google really wanted to help newspapers, it wouldn’t just share revenue -– as its promising to do with its ungainly Fast Flip -– but would share its real treasure trove: unrestricted access to the data of its users."
